Wow, for one, I rarely update this blog, and for another, I've never introduced myself properly here. Even though I don't have many followers, I may as well do the introduction. Besides, I'm on spring break this week because of college, and I'm kinda bored.
Basically, I'm an 18 year old writer finishing up both high school and a college associate's degree. I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi immensely, and I love both reading and writing. I don't really watch TV, so my favorite TV shows include cartoons like Avatar: The Last Airbender and anime like Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors, and Tokyo Mew Mew (which I usually refer to as Mew Mew Power, since most of the time I like dubs better than subs. Hey, don't hurt me!). Recently I've also gotten into webcomics (I blame Howard Taylor and Emily Marie Sorensen for that, although they're both awesome!), and a few of my favorites include:
- Schlock Mercenary (Howard's comic)
- Angel Moxie
- Kid Radd
- A Magical Roommate (Emily's comic that started me finding others...)
- Realms of Ishikaze (even though I can't read them all... stupid subscription)
- The Phoeneix Requiem
- Kimono's Townhouse
- Nowhere University
My favorite movies of all time are the Star Wars saga and Princess Bride (no other movie is full of such witty one-liners!). Other hobbies of mine include ballroom dance, drawing (even though I'm not too great at it), and swimming. I hope one day to be a published author, maybe even a journalist too, and a wife and mother.
As the title of my blog states, I'm Mormon (although I usually state LDS), so I keep my writing and occasional drawings clean because of my beliefs.
Now, why on Earth did I start this blog? So I could write and put it up where people can see it. Even though I have only a handful of followers now, I hope to gain a few more in the future. Who knows, maybe by next year while I'm at BYU I'll get in the swing of updating more and this'll be more popular!
Btw, if you like my blog, recommend it to others, and feel free to comment on posts!
